Breakfast with the Chef on Saturday, May 30 will feature Patrick Hollier, owner of Mighty Max Superdogs, a restaurant in Natchitoches. The breakfast menu includes a 3 egg, sausage burrito, coffee and juice. Breakfast with the Chef will be held in conjunction with the Cane River Green Market, Natchitoches' only local farmers market.

When NSU graduate Patrick Hollier decided to open a restaurant, he asked his daughter Ella what kind of food should be served. She immediately responded “hotdogs and eggs” which are her favorite foods. The concept of Mighty Max Superdogs was just beginning. Max is the Hollier’s family pet and inspiration. All of the superdog characters and graphics were created by Hollier himself. Patrick hopes Mighty Max will eventually evolve into a franchise. 

You can find the mighty burrito on the restaurant’s breakfast menu along with beignets or Belgian waffles. From hotdogs and curly Q’s to salads and wraps you’re sure to find something on the menu to combat your cravings. Mighty Max Superdogs is located at 120 Second Street across from the NSU main gates.
